THE FIRELANDS CHALLENGE MATCH HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED FOR TODAY!

The team will be competing against Huron and St. Paul in the first of three championship rounds.

Firelands Challenge team members are excused at 8:00 this morning. Good luck to the team!

 

Attention Student Athlete Leadership Team We will meet tomorrow during 9th Period.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Jeffrey.

 

The following Students need to see Mr. Jeffrey in the athletic office immediately:Breanna Darling, Austin Ezell, Cody Jarvis, Logan Collins, Connor Cartwright and Noah Sax.

 

The Lady Charger basketball teams play their final home game of the season Saturday when they play Willard at 1:00. Come out and support Sabrina, Catie, and Ashley as they make their final appearance in the orange and blue in the Thunderdome. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Book Club will meet today after school in Room 203 to discuss up through page 143 of Holding Up The Universe. Snacks will be provided:)  Hope to see you there!

 

Reminder to Seniors - Senior photos are due to the yearbook staff by February 15.  Please submit a jpeg photo to Mrs. Dow via school email by that date or tell your photographer to do so.  See Mrs. Dow if you have questions.  

 

The National Honors Society will be hosting a community-wide book drive beginning Friday, February 9th to Saturday, February 17th during Edison Appreciation Week.Collection boxes are located in the library and around town. We will also be at the boys basketball game tonight against Port Clinton. Bring in a book to donate and get $1 dollar off admission.

 

There are still approximately 6 openings for the  ACT bootcamp!  Forms and payments should be turned into the office ASAP!

 

Did you get up and walk in the gym this morning?

FYI: Edison High School has a wide open gym just waiting for you!!! Every morning at 7:30 a.m. through the remainder of the school year, the gym will be open for walking. Your walking fact for the day..A 150-pound woman would have to walk 4 mph for 48 minutes to burn off a 240-calorie donut. This would be equivalent to just over 3 miles.Start your journey today!  Sponsored by the Fuel Up To Play 60 Breakfast Club.

 

Today - right after school, Spanish Club will sponsor a cultural credit learning Spanish dance for those who need it and any student who would like to attend.  The fun will be from 3:15 - 4:15 in auditorium.  Any questions please see Profesora. The National Spanish exam will be given on Tuesday March 13.  

 

Jostens will be here this Friday during lunch to take class ring orders.  There are extra order packets in the office.  

 

Choir council is selling carnations during the lunch modules all this week for $1 each.  Buy that special someone or your friend a flower for valentine's day! Flowers will be delivered on February 14th during homeroom!

 

Teen Leadership Corps. is a service learning class that focuses on building leadership characteristics while serving others.  Any sophomore or junior who is interested in leading, serving, and inspiring the world next year needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Seel and attend the interview night at 5pm Monday February 12th.  See Mrs. Seel or a current (blue-jacket-wearing) member if you have any questions!
