Varsity/JV/9th Basketball vs. Oak Harbor

The boys varsity basketball team won Saturday night against Oak Harbor with a score of 44 to 43. Bryce Roberts made the go ahead free throw with 4 seconds remaining, and Gavin Schaeffer's steal sealed the victory. The boys were led by Bryce Roberts and James Hill, who both had 14 points and Carson Ehrhardt, who added 8 points in addition to a great defensive effort.

 

The JV boys basketball lost a hard fought game to Oak Harbor Saturday night with a score of 54-47.  The Chargers were led in scoring by Seth Thompson with 17 points.  JV boys play PC and South Central this weekend at home.

 

The freshman boys’ basketball team improved their record to 10-6 overall and 5-4 in the conference by beating Huron Thursday 36-33 and defeating Oak Harbor on Saturday by a score of 34-29.  Patrick McManus lead all Scorers against Huron with 13 while Grant Ott put up 10 points.  Dylan O’Dell led all scorers against Oak Harbor with 16 points and was a perfect 10 of 10 from the foul line.  The boys next game is at home on Friday against Port Clinton.

 

Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Port Clinton

The varsity girls basketball team improved their record to 11 and 8 with a 52 to 42 victory over Port Clinton Friday night. Mariah Medina led the attack with 18 points and 6 rebounds, while Alana Fidler recorded a "double-double" with 13 points and 10 rebounds and added 4 assists. Hannah Vitaz contributed 11 points and 4 rebounds.

 

The junior varsity girls basketball team improved their record to 12 and 7 with a 37 to 10 victory over Port Clinton. Lilli Schuster paced the attack with 11 points and 5 steals, while Katelyn Chenevey added 7 points and hauled down 10 rebounds. Jayla Medina tossed in 7 points and Deana Blatnik added 5 points.

 

The Lady Charger varsity girls basketball team is back in action tomorrow night at St. Paul. Tip-off is at 6:00 for the varsity game. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Huron

The boys varsity basketball team won a hard fought game at Huron last night 47-44. The boys were led in scoring by Daniel Lambert, who scored 18 points with 4 - 3 pointers and 4 for 4 from the free throw line. The boys return to action tomorrow night when we host Oak Harbor.

 

Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Vermilion

The Charger bowlers were at it again last night.  The Chargers traveled to Vermilion and had a heartbreaking loss.  High roller for the varsity was Ryan Nealey with a 213 and a 182.  Brandon Goodrich was high for the JV.  The varsity girls took care of business by winning by over 200 pins.  Lily Shover took high honors with a 187 and a 166.  Jv top bowler was Ashley Hall with a 116 and a 151.  Great job teams!
