Girls Golf - SBC Bay Division Champions!!!

The girls golf team came away victorious yesterday shooting a team total of 346 to take 1st place to seal up the 2017 Bay Division title. Jacque Butler 79 earned her a sudden death playoff for overall medalist she was followed closely behind by Jordan Pruitt's 80, and Zoe Grant chipped in a 86 and newcomer Abby Woodyard added 104. The girls will head back out on the road today to make up a match which was a rain out last week against Saint Mary's at Wousickette golf course in Sandusky. Keep Believing and Recharging!! Go Chargers!

 

Girls Tennis vs. Huron

The girls’ tennis team beat Huron on Monday 4-1. Winning at singles were Mariah Medina, Jayla Medina and Emily Vogus. Winning in doubles was the team of Madisyn Frederick and Kassidy Burdue. Winning for the JV team were the doubles teams of Alyssa Vartorella and Jackelyn Rospert and Tori Straka and Emily Morton. The team is now 9-3 on the season.

 

Boys Cross Country - Galion Cross Country Festival

This past Saturday the boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Galion Cross Country Festival with the boys placing seventh of 27 teams and the girls finishing 11th of 22 teams. Leading the boys was sophomore Daniel Lambert with a 9th place finish followed by fellow sophomore Ty Coon in 24th place. Rounding out the varsity scoring was Jon Hrivnak, Gavin Schaeffer and Brandon Romell. Up next for the Edison harriers is the Cloverleaf Colt Pack Invitational this next Saturday.

 

Girls Cross Country - Galion Cross Country Festival

This past Saturday the boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Galion Cross Country Festival with the boys placing seventh of 27 teams and the girls finishing 11th of 22 teams. Finishing in the top spot for the girls was senior Ashley Sneider in 16th place. Following Ashley was freshman Abby Lesniak, junior Isabel Chasney then freshmen Aliyah Caporini and Katie Jeremay. Up next for the Edison harriers is the Cloverleaf Colt Pack Invitational this next Saturday.
