Varsity/Freshman basketball vs. Firelands


The Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Firelands last night 48 to 33 to move to 3 and 0 on the season. The boys were led in scoring by Bryce Roberts, James Hill, and Daniel Lambert. Thank you to all who came to support our boys and to those who donated to the Traci Johnston Memorial Scholarship last night.


The Freshman boys’ basketball team improved their record to 3- 0 last night with a 31-21 non-conference win over Firelands last night.  Lincoln Meredith was top scorer for Edison with 6 points while Grant Ott and Patrick McManus each scored 4 points.  Aiden Yoder and Andrew Neate contributed with 4 points apiece.  The boys start conference play Friday night at home against Margaretta.


Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Huron


The Edison bowling took on the Huron Tigers last night and both varsity girls and boys won big. High rollers for varsity boys was Bryan Johnston with two high scorers of 202 and 225.  Dakota Williams had a high score of 235.  Carmen Thomas was also high for the girls with a 197 and a 161.  JV boys top roller was Cole Manning with a 164 and a 150.  


Varsity Wrestling - Edison Invitational


The Charger Wresting team won their fourth straight Edison Invite title this past weekend.  Winning individual championships were Casey Barnett, John Mason Neer, and Sam Stoll,  Jakey Neer, Ray Adams, Dylan Burns, and Trent Werner finished as tournament runner-ups.  Placing third were Griffin Soviak, Collin Mancuso, and Jacob Brewer.  Also placing in the top six were Jared Fantuzzi, Garrett Scott, Alex Crawford, Joe Stoll, Tim Straka, and Ethan Seville.  The Chargers will be back in action this Wednesday night at home against Division I power Fremont Ross.  The junior high will wrestle at 5:00 with varsity to follow.


Varsity Boys Basketball vs. New London/Perkins


The Boys Varsity Basketball team started the season with two wins this past weekend. Friday they defeated New London at home, and Saturday they defeated Perkins. Both victories were great team efforts defensively. The Boys return to action tonight @ Firelands in the Traci Johnston Memorial Game. All the money raised at tonight's event will go to the Traci Johnston Scholarship given to an Edison High School student. Please come support our boys and the Traci Johnston Scholarship foundation tonight!
