Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Margaretta (Sectional Championship)


The boys varsity basketball season ended in a tough battle with Margaretta in the Sectional Finals. The boys finished the season 16-8 and third in the conference. They accomplished a lot, and we are looking forward to building on the success that we had next year with our returning players. Thank you to our 9 seniors for all that you've done for our program over the past 4 years. Thank you to the cheerleaders, parents, students, faculty members, boosters, and the community members that supported us this year! It's great to be an Edison Charger!


Boys Basketball vs. Lakota (Sectional Semi-Final)


The boys advanced the Sectional Final by defeating the Lakota Raiders last night 59-34. The boys were led by Daniel Lambert's 11 points, Nick Lombardi's 9 points, Brady Patterson's 7 points, Caleb Bissell's 6 points, Brandon Tice's 6 points, and a monstrous dunk by Gavin Schaeffer! The boys will play Margaretta Friday Night at Shelby High School starting at 8:00 p.m.


Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Oak Harbor


The boys varsity basketball team lost 44 to 43 Friday night at Oak Harbor. The boys completed the regular season at 15-7 and third overall in the SBC Bay Division. They will play tomorrow night at Shelby HS @ 8:00 p.m. v. Lakota in the Sectional Semi-Finals. The boys would like to thank all the students that have supported us this season and hope that you can come out and support us the rest of the way in the tournament!


JV/Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Oak Harbor


The JV Boys Basketball ended their season with a tough loss to Oak Harbor on the road Friday night.  Leading all scorers was Seth Thompson with 12 points while Drew Sneider tallied 6 points.  Thank you boys for all your hard work and dedication this season!


Congratulations to the freshman boys’ basketball team on a successful season.  The young Chargers finished their season with an exciting 37-36 victory over Oak Harbor.  The 9th grade team finished the year with a record of (13-6) overall and (8-4) in the conference.  Against Oak Harbor Aiden Yoder led Edison in a balanced scoring attack with 8 points while Dylan O’Dell scored 7 points and Andrew Neate pitched in with 5.
