Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Oak Harbor/Margaretta


Friday the freshman boys’ basketball team lost a conference game to Oak Harbor.  Connor Romell was high scorer for Edison with 5 points, Gabe Tice and Aden Hall had 4 points each.  Last night the freshman team lost to Margaretta in a hard fought battle.  Sam Lopez led the Chargers with 14 points while Aden Hall pitched in with 3 points the boys next game is at home Friday against Vermilion.


Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Western Reserve


The varsity Lady Charger basketball team gave a valiant effort last night before losing to Western Reserve. Hannah Vitaz paced the attack with 11 points and 6 rebounds, while Jessica Stoll added 5 points and 6 rebounds. The junior varsity defeated Western Reserve last night 37 to 33. Mariah Medina tossed in 11 points, while Sabrina Downey pitched in 10 points. Sydney Schuster hauled down 10 rebounds. The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Vermilion for a junior varsity start time of 1:00. Hope to see you court side.


Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Firelands


The varsity girls basketball team played a strong 2nd half and went on to defeat the Firelands Falcons 57 to 49. Kelsey Schuster paced the attack with 21 points, while Alana Fidler and Madison Moyer added 8 points each. Jillian Danda and Jessica Stoll contributed 5 points each, while Molly Houser and Hannah Vitaz each scored 4 points. 


The junior varsity girls defeated Firelands 56 to 20. Brooke Yates led all scorers with 12 points, while Sabrina Downey chipped in 10 points and Mariah Medina tossed in 9 points. Sydney Schuster scored 7 points and Molly Houser and Emma Houser chipped in 6 and 5 points respectively.


The Lady Charger basketball teams return to action Saturday when they host Margaretta for a triple header starting with the freshman game at 11:30 am. Hope to see you court side.



Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Port Clinton/Perkins


The Boys Varsity Basketball traveled to PC this past Thursday. The boys scored 23 4th quarter points and help PC to 3 points to win 46-35. The boys were led in scoring by Bryce Roberts, who scored 18 points and Bryce Ostheimer, who chipped in 13 points.


The Boys Varsity Basketball team lost this Saturday to SBC rival Perkins. The boys were led in scoring by James Hill, who scored 16 points. Bryce Ostheimer contributed 12 points, Nick Frederick had 11 points, and Bryce Roberts had 10 points. The boys are currently 4 and 3 overall and travel to Oak Harbor and Monroeville this weekend.
