Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Tiffin Columbian


The Charger bowlers traveled to Tiffin last night, both girls teams brought home a victory. Carmen Thomas and Kaylie Harris were the high rollers for varsity and Natalie Costello was high for the jv. The varsity boys lost by a slight margin. Kevin McCloskey was high roller for the varsity with a 185 and a 191 and Brandon Goodrich took home the jv honors shooting his best of the year with a 150 and a 209!


Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Huron


The varsity girls basketball team defeated Huron on Saturday 45 to 23. Hannah Vitaz led the attack with a "double-double" with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Sabrina Downey tossed in 8 points and Aliyah Caporini added 6 points and hauled down 10 rebounds. Molly Houser and Ashley Sneider each dished out 3 assists.


The junior varsity girls played a strong second half outscoring Huron 24 to 7 en route to a 38 to 22 victory. Sydney Schuster recorded a "double-double" with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jayla Medina contributed 7 points and Deana Blatnik tallied 6 points. Katelyn Chenevey and Lilli Schuster scored 4 points each with Chenevey adding 5 steals.


The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action tonight at Norwalk at 6:00. Hope to see you courtside.


Varsity/Freshman basketball vs. Bellevue


The boys varsity basketball team lost this past Friday night at Bellevue 60 to 55, The boys were led in scoring by Gavin Schaeffer, who scored 16 points. The loss drops the varsity's record to 9 and 6 overall. The boys will look to bounce back when they return to action this Thursday at Huron.


The Freshman boys' basketball team lost to Bellevue Friday night by a score of 33-25. Dylan O'Dell was leading scorer with 13 points and Aiden Yoder contributed with 5. The boys next game is Thursday at Huron.


Varsity/JV Boys Bowling vs. Fremont St. Joseph


The Charger bowlers had another good night.  Both varsity teams came away with a victory.  Kevin McCloskey was again the high roller of the night with a 203 and a 212.  Kristian Brown was top for the Jv with a 114 and a 135.
