Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Norwalk


The varsity girls’ basketball team lost to Norwalk last night. Hannah Vitaz paced the attack with 9 points and 11 rebounds; Alana Fidler added 8 points and 8 rebounds; Jessica Stoll 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 charges taken; Jillian Danda and Molly Houser tallied 6 points each and Madison Moyer dished out 5 assists. The junior varsity girls basketball team lost to Norwalk last night. Carlie Shover tossed in 9 points; Sabrina Downey scored 8 points; Emma Houser contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds. The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action Friday night when they host Port Clinton. Hope to see you court side!


Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Clyde/St. Paul


The Boys Varsity basketball team improved to 9 and 5 with two wins over the weekend. Friday the boys went on the road and defeated Clyde 68 to 58. The boys were led in scoring by Bryce Roberts, who scored 22 points, Bryce Ostheimer, who scored 15 points, James Hill, who scored 14 points, and Gavin Schaeffer who scored 10 points. The boys came home Saturday and beat Norwalk St. Paul 53-39. The boys were led by Bryce Ostheimer who scored 13 points, Bryce Roberts and Nick Frederick chipped in 12 points each. The boys are back in action this Thursday at Huron.


Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Clyde


The freshman boys’ basketball team played at Clyde Friday night and lost to the Fliers 38-20.  Connor Romell and Seth Kromer led the Chargers with 5 points each while Chase O’Dell and Nate Sebolt pitched in with 3 points apiece.  The boy’s next game is Thursday at Huron.


Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Huron


The varsity girls’ basketball team used a 26 to 10 scoring advantage in the 2nd half over Huron on Saturday to claim a 52 to 38 victory. Kelsey Schuster led all scorers with 22 points; Hannah Vitaz added 10 points and 6 rebounds; Alana Fidler notched 8 points and 9 rebounds; Jessica Stoll contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds. The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action tonight when they host Norwalk in a triple header. Hope to see you court side.
