Varsity/JV/9th Volleyball vs. Port Clinton

The varsity volleyball team beat Port Clinton 25-21, 25-4, 25-12.  Jessica Stoll had 13 kills and Melissa Kuhl had 6 kills to lead the offense.  Natalie Lambert and Macy Stower served 10 points each, while Kami Neuberger and Jordyn Mitnik each served 8 points. The JV volleyball team beat Port Clinton in 2 games.  Halina Krul led the team in serving with 10 points.  The Freshmen volleyball team also beat the Redskins.  Mallory Perkins and Deana Blatnik were the leading scorers.

 

Girls Tennis - Sectional Tournament

Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team on a great day of tennis Thursday at the Sectional Tennis tournament. A special congrats goes out to Mariah Medina for advancing out to the District tournament next Wednesday at Bowling Green State University. The girls that participated in Thursday's tournament were Mariah Medina, Jayla Medina, Emily Vogus, Lexi Weyer, Kaylee Ries, Madisyn Frederick and Kassidy Burdue.

 

Girls Soccer vs. Tiffin Columbian

The Edison Girls Varsity Soccer team sent their seniors out in style on senior night with a big win over Tiffin Columbian 6 to 2 in their last home match of the season. Scoring one goal each was Savanna Smith, Holly Racioppi, Emma Houser, Hanna Ceja, Piper Nickoli, and Katie Nealey. All the scoring came off some great team play with assist on goals from Alleigh Shreve, Nickoli, Ceja, and Smith. The possession style soccer was generated from some great ball movement from seniors Chelsea Jamison, Natalie Coiffard, Brooke Yates, Natalie White, and Savanna Smith. The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Monday with a away match at Clyde.

 

JV Boys Soccer vs. Sandusky

The boys JV soccer team put in a solid game last night defeating Sandusky 8-0. Goals scored by Jamie DeLeon with 3, Zarek Yoder with 2. Alex Hancock, Travin Baughman, and Kyle Racioppi with 1 each.
