Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Port Clinton

The Edison varsity girls and boys bowling teams traveled to Pt. Clinton last night. Port Clinton had no chance against the Edison squad.  The boys’ won by over 200 pins!  High roller was Kevin McCloskey with a 216 and a 190.  The varsity girls had a good night but lost by 8 pins to a veteran Pt. Clinton team.  High roller was Kalie Ries with a 228 and a 146.  The JV boys post a victory and high roller was Brandon Goodrich with a 166 and a 180.

 

Freshmen Girls Basketball vs. Margaretta

The freshmen girls basketball team defeated Margaretta last night 28 to 23 in front of a raucous student body in the Thunderdome. Everyone reached the scoring column in the win paced by Lilli Schuster with 8 points; Lauren Neher tallied 6 points; Jayla Medina tossed in 5 points; Katelyn Chenevey chipped in 4 points; Deana Blatnik contributed 3 points; and Danielle Blatnik added 2 points. The Lady Chargers varsity and jv teams are right back in action tomorrow when they host Vermilion starting at 1:00. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Varsity Wrestling vs. Fremont Ross

Congratulations to the Charger Wrestling team for an impressive 40-29 win over Division I Fremont Ross.  Winning matches for the Chargers were Jakey Neer, Casey Barnett, Ray Adams, Dylan Burns, Collin Mancuso, Jacob Brewer, Sam Stoll, and Tim Straka.

 

Varsity/Freshman basketball vs. Firelands

The Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Firelands last night 48 to 33 to move to 3 and 0 on the season. The boys were led in scoring by Bryce Roberts, James Hill, and Daniel Lambert. Thank you to all who came to support our boys and to those who donated to the Traci Johnston Memorial Scholarship last night.

 

The Freshman boys’ basketball team improved their record to 3- 0 last night with a 31-21 non-conference win over Firelands last night.  Lincoln Meredith was top scorer for Edison with 6 points while Grant Ott and Patrick McManus each scored 4 points.  Aiden Yoder and Andrew Neate contributed with 4 points apiece.  The boys start conference play Friday night at home against Margaretta.
