Varsity Girls Bowling - Districts

Madison Ostheimer went to div 2 district bowling tournament this weekend in Rossford.  Lane conditions were rough and talent was very high level, but she held her composure and bowled well.  Out of 3 games she bowled a 151 153 and a 158.  On a sad note she did not qualify for state.  Great job Madison!

 

Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Perkins

Edison bowling teams took on Perkins Monday at Cedar Lanes The lanes were perfect for the Pirates beating both girls and boys teams Ryan Nealey was high for the boys with a 192 and 178.  For the girls was Lily Shover with a 136 and her personal record of a 217. Great job Lily. Last match of the season is this Saturday at 130 against Lexington.  Come out and watch.

 

Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Port Clinton

Your Edison bowling team was in Port Clinton last night. The varsity boys took a huge win by winning by over 100 pins. Bryan Johnston was top roller of the night with a 184 and 254.

The girls had a tough loss. Losing by only 42 pins in another close match.  Carmen Thomas was high for girls with a high of 165 and 171.  Great job both teams.

 

Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling - Redskin Tournament

Your Edison bowling team participated in the huge Redskin Tournament. The varsity boys finished 6th missing the cut final 4 cut by 110. Bryan Johnston was the high roller for the boys with a 201, 205 and a 168.  The girls were also 6th place but missed the cut by 62 pins.  Madison Ostheimer was the high roller for the girls with a 140, 139, and a 214.  Great finished for both teams in a field of 48 teams.

 

Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Huron

Your Edison bowling team took on Huron last night.  The Varsity boys and jv boys got huge wins.  The high bowlers for both squads were Ryan Nealey with 183 and 236 and Brandon Kasper 187 130.  For the jv girls was Ashley Hall 139 and 99.  The most exciting match was the varsity girls.  They had to go against the undefeated Huron girls.  It came down to the last baker - we shot our high of 199.  But came up short by only 7 pins. The high bowler was Lily Shover with a 166 and 129.  Great job to all the bowlers
