May Student of the Month - Jenelle Nemire

     The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Jenelle Nemire is the May Student of the Month

at Edison High School.

     Jenelle has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Jenelle’s school/community activities:  National Honor Society; Student of the Quarter (Spanish, Science, Math); Health Professional to Be Club; marching band squad leader and section leader (received Marcher of the Year in 10th and 12 grade and also honorable mention); solo & ensemble participant (received 2 superior and 1 excellent awards); stage band; concert band; pep band; Spanish Club; Milan and Japanese Sister City Celebration speaker; Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer; vacation bible school and Easter egg hunt volunteer.  Jenelle has also received the Girl Scout Gold Award and is involved in piano and dance lessons (received Dancer of the Month).   

     Jenelle plans to attend Hiram College majoring in nursing and eventually becoming an OB delivery nurse.  Jenelle is the daughter of Ron & Bobette Nemire of Berlin Heights, Ohio.

 

April Student of the Month - Molly Davis

     The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Molly Davis is the April Student of the Month at Edison High School.

     Molly has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Molly’s school/community activities:  Student Council (President / Communications Officer); Spanish Club (Treasurer / Fund Chairperson); Spanish Honor Society (received Medal of Honor); Key Club (Secretary); Interact Club; Math Club; math/writing lab tutor; Student Athlete Leadership team member; Health Professionals to Be; Edison Teen Leadership Corps; Camp Invention counselor; EHS Book Club member; Early Readers, peer tutor; EHS morning announcement crew member; Pull Tab Committee Chairperson; received STEM Competition Regional Level Award; honor roll; Big Brothers Big Sisters; Cheerleading (Captain, 110% Award recipient, Most-Improved Award recipient); Champion All-Star Cheerleader; special needs cheer coach and also the Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator at EHS. 

     Molly plans to attend Ohio University majoring in forensic chemistry and later a double major in human anatomy and sciences.  Molly then plans to attend medical school to become a forensic pathologist.  She is interested in working with the FBI.  Molly is the daughter of Timothy and Kelli Davis of Fremont, Ohio.

 

March Student of the Month - Nicholas Lombardi

     The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Nicholas Lombardi is the March Student of the Month at Edison High School.

     Nicholas has been chosen for his contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Nicholas’ school/community activities:  National Honor Society; French Honor Society; French Club; Math Club; Spanish Club; Ski Club; Art Club; Health Professionals To Be; Interact Club Treasurer; Key Club; Big Brothers Big Sisters; Edison peer tutor program; EHS writing lab editor; McWane Scholarship committee; Soccer – 2nd Team All-Ohio Midfielder, SBC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-SBC, 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-SBC; Soccer Records – Most Career Goals (47), Most Goals in a season (26), Most Goals in a game (6), Captain, EHS Most Outstanding Forward, EHS Most Outstanding Midfielder, SBC Champions 2017; Tennis 2nd Team All-SBC; basketball; football; 3 sport award recipient; band; stage band; pep band; band council; homecoming king; honor roll; Edison Youth Soccer League referee; personal tutor; youth group member; COSI volunteer and car mechanic assistant.

     Nicholas plans to attend The University of Toledo majoring in Engineering with a minor or double minor in business to equip himself with the ability to work his way into higher positions or to own his own business.  Nicholas’ career goal is to become a mechanical engineer and work in the auto industry. Working at a prestigious car company like Ford, Chrysler or BMW is his ultimate ambition.  Nicholas is the son of Tony & Amy Lombardi of Milan, Ohio.

 

February Student of the Month - Bryce Roberts

     The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Bryce Roberts is the February Student of the Month at Edison High School.

     Bryce has been chosen for his contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Bryce’s school/community activities:  varsity basketball & varsity baseball (4 years); National Honor Society; Math Club; Key Club; Spanish Club; Student Athlete Leadership Team; Brownlee Lookouts Baseball Club; volunteers at Fisher Titus Medical Center and the US Postal Service.  Bryce takes pride in the fact that he has missed only 1 day of high school.

     Bryce plans to attend The University of Dayton to pursue an Entrepreneurship degree and play baseball.  Bryce Roberts is the son of Karin Roberts of Milan, Ohio.
