Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Fremont St. Joseph

The varsity girls basketball team lost to an undefeated Fremont St. Joe team on the road last night 39 to 29. Mariah Medina led the attack with 10 points, while Hannah Vitaz contributed 7 points and 10 rebounds and Alana Fidler added 6 points and 6 rebounds.

 

The junior varsity girls basketball team defeated Fremont St. Joe last night 34 to 22. Deana Blatnik led all scorers with 12 points and added 9 rebounds, while Lilli Schuster added 8 points and 4 steals and Danielle Blatnik and Emma Houser each tallied 4 points. Katelyn Chenevey also hauled down 9 rebounds.

 

The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action Saturday when they host Tiffin Calvert at 1:00. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Vermilion

The varsity girls basketball team defeated Vermilion 39 to 31 on Saturday. Aliyah Caporini paced the attack with 13 points and 5 steals, while Hannah Vitaz recorded a "double-double" with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Alana Fidler added 8 points and 13 rebounds. 

 

The junior varsity girls basketball team defeated Vermilion 30 to 21. Deana Blatnik led the way with 9 points, while Lilli Schuster contributed 8 points. Jayla Medina and Sydney Schuster both added 4 points. 

 

The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to Fremont St. Joe at 6:00. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Freshmen Girls Basketball vs. Margaretta

The freshmen girls basketball team defeated Margaretta last night 28 to 23 in front of a raucous student body in the Thunderdome. Everyone reached the scoring column in the win paced by Lilli Schuster with 8 points; Lauren Neher tallied 6 points; Jayla Medina tossed in 5 points; Katelyn Chenevey chipped in 4 points; Deana Blatnik contributed 3 points; and Danielle Blatnik added 2 points. The Lady Chargers varsity and jv teams are right back in action tomorrow when they host Vermilion starting at 1:00. Hope to see you courtside.

 

Freshman Girls Basketball vs. Monroeville

The freshmen girls basketball team defeated Monroeville last night 38 to 30. Jayla Medina paced the attack with 11 points, while Deana Blatnik contributed 10 points and 6 rebounds. Lilli Schuster tossed in 8 points and Katelyn Chenevey added 6 points. Lauren Neher led the team in steals with 6 and Danielle Blatnik and Sierra Colvin made major contributions on the defensive end of the floor. The Lady Chargers' freshmen team return to action Thursday when they host Margaretta at 5:30. Hope to see you courtside.
