Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Huron


The boys varsity basketball team won a hard fought game at Huron last night 47-44. The boys were led in scoring by Daniel Lambert, who scored 18 points with 4 - 3 pointers and 4 for 4 from the free throw line. The boys return to action tomorrow night when we host Oak Harbor.


Varsity/Freshman basketball vs. Bellevue


The boys varsity basketball team lost this past Friday night at Bellevue 60 to 55, The boys were led in scoring by Gavin Schaeffer, who scored 16 points. The loss drops the varsity's record to 9 and 6 overall. The boys will look to bounce back when they return to action this Thursday at Huron.


The Freshman boys' basketball team lost to Bellevue Friday night by a score of 33-25. Dylan O'Dell was leading scorer with 13 points and Aiden Yoder contributed with 5. The boys next game is Thursday at Huron.


Varsity/JV/9th Boys Basketball vs. Vermilion


The boys varsity basketball team lost another tough game to conference leading Vermilion this past Friday with a score of 59-53. The boys were led in scoring by Bryce Roberts, who scored 17 points, James Hill, who scored 15 points, and Gavin Schaeffer, who scored 12 points. The boys will return to action this Friday at Bellevue.


Friday night the JV boys basketball team took on the Vermilion Sailors at the Thunderdome.  After an extremely hard fought game of several lead changes, the Chargers were unable to outlast the Sailor Shooting in the second half.  Leading the way for the Chargers was Seth Thompson with 10 points.  The Chargers play Friday versus Bellevue on the road.


The freshman boys basketball team lost to Vermilion Friday night 27 to 14  The freshman play at  Bellevue Tuesday night, tip-off is at 5:30.


Freshman Boys Basketball vs. Clyde/Margaretta


The freshman boys’ basketball team lost to Clyde Saturday night 35-26.  Dylan O’Dell led the Chargers in scoring with 10 points while Conrad Kluding and Jalen Kegarise pitched in with 6 points each.  On Tuesday night, the freshman beat Margaretta for the second time this year by a score of 26-25.  Dylan O’Dell and Conrad Kluding were high scorers for Edison with 5 points apiece. Ethan Gessling hit timely back to back baseline jumpers in the 3rd quarter to finish with 4 points, Jalen Kegarise knocked down a 3 point field goal in the final stanza.  Luke Bissell came up big by sinking a pair of free throws at the end of the game to secure the victory. The boys are back in action at home Friday against Vermilion.
