Happy Birthday to Austin Kuluris, Justin Kuluris and Jillian Barker!


At 4:00 today, tennis will be at Fremont St. Joe. Tonight at 7:00 the music department will present its final choir concert of the year.  


Today we are on activity schedule.  Class elections will be held at 2:26.  Freshmen will be in the cafeteria, sophomores in the auditorium, juniors in the old band room and seniors will meet in the gym.


The boys track team competed in the district track meet last night.  Qualifying for the regional next week are: the 4x800 relay team of Ty Coon, Daniel Lambert, Brandon Romell and Gavin Schaeffer in a personal best time of 8:07.  Joe Eskra won the pole vault with a personal best and new school record of 14’7”.  Qualifying for the finals on Friday are Sam Stoll in the 110 and 300 hurdles, the 4x200 relay team of Joe Eskra, Kolt Wikel, Carson Ehrhardt and Brady Patterson.  The 4x100 relay team of Joe Eskra, Ian Janssen, Logan Collins and Sam Stoll, Daniel Lambert in the 1600, Brandon Romell and Gavin Schaeffer in the 800, Kolt Wikel in the 200, the 4x400 relay of Ehrhardt, Patterson, Romell and Schaeffer.  Congratulations and good luck on Friday!


Congratulations to James Hill and the doubles team of Connor Goodwin and Nick Lombardi for earning Second-Team all OTCA Northwest District Division II tennis honors on Wednesday. Congratulations on a great Tournament!


Looking for a great addition to your college resume? Join teen librarian Mackenzie Matula at the Milan library on Monday, May 21st, at 6PM, and become a part of the library's Teen Advisory Board. Help develop programs for fellow teens and create and publicize events you know your friends would love to be a part of.


Are you hungry? Are you looking for a new place to eat? The Lady Charger basketball program can take care of both of those issues with a pancake breakfast fundraiser this Sunday from 8am - 1pm at St. Anthony's Hall in Milan right next to the Elementary school. Hope to see you there.


Are you in need of community service hours next year?  Caddy for cancer patients is looking for girls and guys to caddy on Monday June 25th at 10:30.  Golf carts are available for you to ride on - so kick that excuse out the door...but you may be asked to help sight a ball or retrieve a ball.  You and a friend can caddy as a team! You will recieve 8 community service hours for this! There is more information on the counter in the library.  


Attention all current juniors.  Prestige Portraits will be here on Monday, May 21 at 2:30 pm to share exciting information about your upcoming senior portraits.  During this time, they will be giving away a lot of fun stuff, including free senior T-shirts and Kalahari Waterpark Day passes.  Class of 2019 be sure to join the fun on Monday, May 21 at 2:30 as we kickoff your senior year.


This is the last week to order a 2018 yearbook.  The deadline is May 18 at school and May 19 online.  The price is $60.  Get your order form from Mrs. Dow if you have lost the one mailed to you.  Online is www.jostensyearbooks.com


Attention staff and student body members: The Key Club in conjunction with the Berlin Heights Kiwanis is conducting a shoe drive to benefit young entrepreneurs in 3rd world countries. If you have gently worn shoes, sandals, flip flops, boots or sneakers that you no longer use, please bring them to the Main Office this week and put them in the SHOE DRIVE box.


Edison High School's annual sports physical night is Tuesday, May 22nd from 5pm - 7pm.  Any high school or middle school student needing a sports physical can pick up a packet in the school offices. Cost is $15.  Please email rmiller@edisonchargers.orgor call 419-499-4652 ext 1022 to schedule a time.


Reminder to all color runners, the E-High or Dye color run will be this Saturday at 11:00 on the high school grounds!  If you didn’t have a chance to register before, you may still register all week.  Registration papers are available in the library!  Register now!  Hope to see you there!


Summer school information is now available.  See Mrs. Brown if you would like more information on this option for credit recovery.  


There will be a girls golf meeting on May 23 for any girl interested in learning how to play and for returning members.


Anyone who is planning on trying out for volleyball teams this fall should sign up in Coach Hoover's room this week.


There will be a cross country meeting after school in room 606 for anyone interested in running cross country next school year.  


Interact is still looking for workers for today to help with gardening clean up.  Please consider giving 1 hour of your time to help out!


Looking for some great food with friends and family? Well, Jim’s Pizza Box in Milan is hosting Drama Day at Jim’s to help support the Edison Drama club next Tuesday May 22nd, all day long! You can carry out or dine in. All the proceeds will be going to the EHS drama club and will also be benefitting select students who will be attending an international festival this summer!
