Happy Birthday Lillian Schuster and Brooke Yates!


Today at 4:15, boys’ tennis will be at home with St. Mary’s. At 4:45, JV softball and JV baseball will be at home with Port Clinton. Also at 4:45, Varsity softball and Varsity baseball will be at Port Clinton for their games.


The tennis team beat Huron on Tuesday 5-0. Winning at singles were James Hill, Bryan Johnston and Lincoln Meredith. Winning at doubles were the teams of Connor Goodwin/Nick Lombardi and Nick Shupe/Carter Kramer. Winning at doubles for the JV team were the doubles teams of Adam Frederick/Kaleb Yoder, Chris Schaeffer/Nathan Spence, Jacob Lombardi/Gabe Tice, Branden Tice/Brody Yost and Tim Straka/August Berckmueller. The team is home later today against St. Mary’s.


Aaliyah Daniels, Josh Cyrek, Larissa Astacia-Carrasco, Ashton Houser and Tommy Krauzer please report to the office.


Attention anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading or the mascot for the 2018-2019 school year: there will be a mandatory informational parent meeting this Thursday, April 12 at 7:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.


Any senior that is not currently taking an art class through Mr. Wolff and is interested in designing the cover for the senior awards night program please provide artwork to Ms. Mehlow by this Friday, April 13th.  


Are you looking for summer work close to home with the possibility of bonuses at the end of the summer? Schlessman Seed company in Milan is looking for high school students with great work ethics to work for them this summer.  A representative from Schlessman Seed will be here this Friday April 13thto meet with interested students in the Conference Room - Room 408 at 7:45 am to answer any questions and provide basic information about what the summer job will entail.


Prom is quickly approaching! Juniors and seniors can purchase tickets through this Thursday, April 12 during the lunch modules. EHOVE and Firelands students can purchase them throughout the day or before and after school in the office. The cost of each ticket is $35. Anyone bringing a guest from another school must have a completed dance form with them in order to purchase the ticket. There will be absolutely no tickets sold after Thursday, April 12.


Freshmen who have not turned in their chocolate money - we need it now.  Please turn it in ASAP to Mrs. Traut!


Prom tickets are now on sale.  By purchasing a prom ticket students are agreeing to abide by the dance regulations as listed on page 45 of the Charger Guide.  Grinding, twerking and any other sexually suggestive dance styles will not be tolerated.  Violators of dance regulations will be removed. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. The dance regulations were put in place so that all attendees may be comfortable and have fun.  Please make Prom 2018 enjoyable for all!


Drama members recycling tomorrow are Meredith Holler and Megan Morley.  If you are unable to do this, see Leo some time today.


Do you have a teacher who has really inspired you - or made a difference in your life.  Now’s the time to let them know what an outstanding teacher they are!  The Milan Rotary Club is now accepting nomination for the Gold Apple Award.  Nomination forms are located in the library, write a brief paragraph about what it was that made a difference.  Entries can be submitted in a box in the library until April 24th.  You can nominate more than one and it can be anyone from any of the Edison buildings.  Please take the time to fill this out! 


There will be a brief boys basketball meeting this Fri. April 13th at 7:35 a.m. in the HS auditorium for anyone planning to play next year. If you are unable to attend the meeting please see Coach Hammond for more information.
