Happy Birthday today to Isaac Keefe, Zach Kibler, Alleigh Shreve, Jacqueline Fry, Abigail Smith and Julieann Rothenburger!


The Firelands Challenge match scheduled for today has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8 at 10:00 at EHOVE.


The following students need to report to the Athletic Office to see Mr. Jeffrey immediately after announcements: Morgan Brock, Alleigh Shreve, Isabelle Dials, Josh Lajeune, Noah Schmenk, Connor Cartwright and Aliyah Daniels.


The Edison Writing Center is open during all lunch periods today.  If you need help with a writing assignment, bring your lunch and your essay to Room 201 today.


Book Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 8th, after school in Room 203 to discuss up through page 143 of Holding Up The Universe. Snacks will be provided:)  Hope to see you there!


Reminder to Seniors - Senior photos are due to the yearbook staff by February 15.  Please submit a jpeg photo to Mrs. Dow via school email by that date or tell your photographer to do so.  See Mrs. Dow if you have questions.  


The National Honors Society will be hosting a community-wide book drive from Friday, February 9th to Saturday, February 17th during Edison Appreciation Week. You can donate any gently used or new books from any age group and reading level. Books will be donated to the Early Readers Program at the elementary, the Milan Salvation Army and the local libraries. Please help us show how much we appreciate Edison Schools and community. Collection boxes are located in the library and around town.


There are still approximately 6 openings for the  ACT bootcamp!  Forms and payments should be turned into the office ASAP!

FYI: Edison High School has a wide open gym just waiting for you!!! Every morning at 7:30 a.m. through the remainder of the school year, the gym will be open for walking. Tomorrow, February 8th, Spanish Club will sponsor a cultural credit learning Spanish dance for those who need it and any student who would like to attend.  The fun will be from 3:15 - 4:15 in auditorium.  Any questions please see Profesora   The National Spanish exam will be given on Tuesday March 13.  


All Interact members should plan on meeting tonight at 7:00 in the library.  We will be working on a service project.  Officers need to be here at 6:30.


Jostens will be here this Friday during lunch to take class ring orders.  There are extra order packets in the office.  


Choir council is selling carnations during the lunch modules all this week for $1 each.  Buy that special someone or your friend a flower for valentine's day! Flowers will be delivered on February 14th during homeroom!


The varsity girls basketball team used a balanced scoring attack last night to improve their record to 12 and 8 with a 41 to 31 victory over St. Paul. Alana Fidler led the attack with 12 points and 4 rebounds, while Hannah Vitaz chipped in with 10 points and 7 boards. Aliyah Caporini tossed in 9 points and recorded 8 rebounds and Molly Houser added 6 points.


The Lady Charger basketball teams play their final home game of the season Saturday when they play Willard at 1:00. Come out and support Sabrina, Catie, and Ashley as they make their final appearance in the orange and blue in the Thunderdome. Hope to see you courtside.


Teen Leadership Corps. is a service learning class that focuses on building leadership characteristics while serving others.  Any sophomore or junior who is interested in leading, serving, and inspiring the world next year needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Seel and attend the interview night at 5pm Monday February 12th.  See Mrs. Seel or a current (blue-jacket-wearing) member if you have any questions!
