The Firelands Challenge team members are excused at 8:40 this morning to attend round 6 with Monroeville and Clyde. Good Luck to the Firelands Challenge Team members!!


The Edison boys’ and girls bowling teams traveled to Vermilion last night.  The boys took a hard loss losing only by 14 pins against an undefeated team.  Boys high roller was Ryan Nealey with a 231 and a 162.  The varsity girls had a great win as they won by over 300 pins.  Lily Shover was the high roller with a 199 and a 166.  


The varsity girls basketball team put up a valiant effort last night before falling to Oak Harbor 34 to 28. Mariah Medina led the way with 9 points and 4 steals, while Hannah Vitaz added 8 points and 4 rebounds. The junior varsity team lost to Oak Harbor last night 40 to 31. Sydney Schuster recorded a "double-double" with a game high 14 points and hauled down 12 rebounds. The Lady Chargers return to action Saturday when they host Margaretta at 1:00. Hope to see you courtside.


Austin Ezell, Sam Fairplay, Austin Kuluris and Aubree McMinn please report to the office.


State Thespian Conference registration information is now available on the callboard and must be handed in with payment by Wednesday, January 24.

The Edison Winter Formal will be held this Sunday from 7 pm to 10 pm, all are encouraged to attend and bring their own masks-- Beads will be provided at the door!! Reminder tickets for winter formal are now on sale at lunch. Tickets are $5 and will be sold through Friday. You must have a completed dance form filled out prior to buying a ticket for an outside guest. Due to Snow Days, the form can be faxed in to the school to make things easier. Please remember that all handbook rules for the dance will be followed. Hope to see you there!


Next Monday, the Varsity boys’ basketball team will be playing Clyde at Quicken Loans Arena at 2:30pm.  There is no admission cost for the high school game.  As part of this event Edison High School is selling tickets to the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors game at 8pm that evening.  Tickets are $103 each. If interested in tickets, contact Mr. Jeffrey or Coach Hammond.


Book Club will meet after school today in Room 203 to discuss pages through 59 of our current read: Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven.   Books are $11 and are available in the office.  Snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!


The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest will be given on Saturday Feb. 24. The cost is $5.00.  Please pick up an information sheet in Mrs. Wally's room.


Senior National Honor Society members - I am moving our meeting that was scheduled for today to next Tuesday after school. One more reminder that service hours must be turned in by the end of the day on Thursday.


Juniors who are eligible for National Honor Society - a reminder that service hours must be turned in by Thursday after school - no exceptions.


French Club members are reminded that we will be Ice Skating on Monday from 1:30 to 3 at the Elyria Ice Rink.  French Honor Society members can get a flyer from Madame with address and cost information.  Friends and family welcome!  Join us for this favorite French Canadian pastime!  See you Monday!


Set construction crew for the one-act shows - we will work today and Thursday from 3 until 4:30.  Please make sure you bring clothes to work and paint in.


The Math Club meeting has been moved to tomorrow after school in Mrs. Wallrabenstein room. Bring T-shirt design Ideas!!


Anyone interested in playing baseball this spring should sign up in Coach Hoover's room.  There will be a short baseball meeting today after school in Coach Hoover's room.  Anyone planning on trying out for the baseball teams should plan on attending this meeting.  There will be lifting, followed by open cages in the field house after the meeting for those players who can attend.


Attention all football players, there will be a meeting Thursday morning at 7:35 for those interested in playing next season.  Attendance is very important as information regarding the team off season activities will be discussed.
